I was going to head to the local super market to pick up some fresh flowers and remembered that there is a pick your own farm close by. I am so glad that I went, because look at this place! It isMaple Acres farm and is in Plymouth Meeting, PA. They have giant fields of zinnias and sun flowers and all sorts of amazing flowers that I don’t even know the name of. And it is super affordable, much less than what you would pay at the supermarket. I got 20 zinnias and about 10 stems of other flowers for $7!
They also have tons of amazing local fruits and veggies and meats and dairy. This is going to be my new go to spot for local everything.
I have no idea how many people actually follow this blog, but I imagine that it is probably about 5. Ok, maybe it’s 15. But seriously, you should follow me over on instagram if you have an account! @brandeyehome
You can find snapshots of my home, and of course an ‘edited’ version of my life 🙂
And best of all, you can get first dibs on my finds! For instance, it’s much easier for me to just post a photo to instagram of a recent find. Then you guys can quickly see it, and message me to buy! Win, win.
I found this amazing jewelry box at a local antique, collectable shop and posted it on instagram and facebook the following day on my lunch break of the ‘real job’. It found the perfect buyer within minutes. Coincidentally the buyer was a friend who I met at my first ‘real job.’ I mean, look at how amazing this box is! It is made of slabs of amethyst, which is my birthstone, so it was really hard to part with. I’m glad that it found such a great buyer and I may even see it in it’s new home some day.
And if you follow along on insta stories, you can see awesome views such as this! It’s atop the Bok builing at the Bok Bar in South Philly. The view is incredible!
