Bucks County Beauty

Nov 9, 2017 | Design

I had the pleasure of visiting the cutest house with the best view in all of Bucks County a couple of weeks ago. My friend Ericka who used to live super close, moved about an hour away to a tiny town on the Delaware River in Bucks County. She now lives in this amazing home with her husband and their 5 dogs.

I mean, look at this place. It definitely feels like it jumped off of the pages of a very cool magazine, like Martha Stewart Living. Ericka has always had really good taste and killer decorating skills. She recently downsized and moved in with her lovely new husband, John. It was so fun to see how she edited all of her stuff into this perfect Bucks County home. Amazing job lady!

The drive up River Road is absolutely stunning! It’s filled with cute towns along the river on both sides.  The leaves are at peak season currently, so a drive up now would be even more beautiful than normal.DSC_0418

LOVE this rug. DSC_0430

And the living room. A recent update from Ericka is that she scored an amazing leather sofa “from” Crate and Barrel. And by from I mean actually from Craigslist for a deal.  I can’t wait to see it. DSC_0432

I’m in love with the details in this guest bedroom. DSC_0434

You can see my sister’s cute head in this shot. She was visising us from Florida, and spent the day with us, which was also wonderful. DSC_0436

The attic has this amazing window. DSC_0438

This pheasant rules. And the antique piece that it’s sitting on is stunning. DSC_0455

Here are 2 of the 5 rug rats, on an amazing rug. Ericka has 2 boxers and John 3  basset hounds. DSC_0468

They also have a BOAT! Yes, we also got to chill on a giant pontoon boat on the Delaware River on a glorious day. It was like in the 70s/80s that day. DSC_0489

Picture perfect.

Thanks for the hospitality Ericka and John!

I’d love to know, what was your favorite part about this home?

Tablescape Inspiration

Our favorite holiday to host is Thanksgiving. This year I started my table planning early due to a brand post that I did with Allem Studio. They sent me some of their beautiful block-printed linens and I created a tablescape to showcase them. Since this is...
