URBN Market February 15

Feb 6, 2018 | Shop

Hey Friends. I am so excited to tell you that I will be selling at the URBN Market on Thursday, February 15th.Β  If you haven’t ever been to the URBN headquarters (I actually haven’t!), it looks like the most amazing space. I seriously couldn’t be more excited to go. And the best part is that this market is open to the PUBLIC! So normal people like me and you can go. Actually I can’t believe I haven’t been here yet. I mean, this is definitely worth a PTO day. Make a day of it and grab a great lunch in the city with a friend, and then stop by the Market. Here are the details.

Address: Building 543, 5000 South Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19112 (in the Navy Yard)

Date and Time: Thursday, February 15 from 9am – 4pm

Above photos from URBN, you can check out theirΒ URBN Community Instagram account. Β If you’re not familiar with the term URBN, it is the company that owns Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People and Terrain. Oh and I think they own Vetri restaurants now too. Basically, everything they touch is cool and pretty.

I’ll be there selling my Brand*eye Home goods and will be bringing this amazing vintage hand knotted rug.Β DSC_0906

You may have seen a sneak peak of these pillows in my Instagram. I made them especially for the URBN market and they are not yet available in my shop. One side is a solid and the other is a Charley Harper bird fabric. I stopped at a great little fabric shop called Fabricate while visiting my niece in Boulder, and picked up the Harper fabric.Β DSC_0830

I’ll also be bringing this vintage rug.DSC_0879

And I am hoping to make the first of a set of pillows with these amazing antique, hand sewn, quilt blocks. When I saw this set of 50 quilt blocks at a Philadelphia Flea Market, I knew I had to buy them. I plan to make a few pillows from them, and this is the first. IMG_8533DSC_0828

I’ll be bringing even more rugs, and quilts, and lots of antique and vintage housewares.Β DSC_0895

Whew, there will be a lot of vintage and handmade goodness to peruse.

Let me know if there is something specific that you would like to see and I can bring it.

I hope to see you there!

Tablescape Inspiration

Our favorite holiday to host is Thanksgiving. This year I started my table planning early due to a brand post that I did with Allem Studio. They sent me some of their beautiful block-printed linens and I created a tablescape to showcase them. Since this is...
